What is growth hormone deficiency, and how does assessments work at Get Gambit?
At Get Gambit, the assessment starts with a clinical intake and relevant biomarker testing where appropriate. A licensed specialist reviews your symptoms, health history, medications, risk factors, and lab results in context to help determine whether further evaluation may be clinically appropriate.
How do I know what is right for me?
You do not need to choose a plan on your own. Your intake, symptoms, goals, medical history, medications, and relevant risk factors help guide the assessment pathway.
Some patients begin with a focused eligibility assessment. Others may be better suited for a broader biomarker assessment. Testing and next steps are reviewed by a licensed clinician based on clinical context.
Can I do this without going into a clinic?
Yes. Get Gambit offers a Canadian telehealth assessment pathway. You can complete your intake online, and when lab testing is appropriate, blood collection is arranged through a certified partner laboratory in your province.
Your results are reviewed virtually by licensed Canadian clinicians. In person care, specialist referral, or urgent evaluation may still be recommended when clinically appropriate.
What does this cost?
Growth hormone eligibility assessments start at $100 where available. Comprehensive biomarker assessments may vary depending on the panel selected, province, clinical needs, and any optional add ons.
Medication, pharmacy services, imaging, specialist referrals, and follow up services may be billed separately where applicable. Our team will review available options before you proceed.
Does bloodwork confirm growth hormone deficiency?
Bloodwork is one part of the assessment. Growth hormone related markers must be interpreted alongside symptoms, medical history, medications, sleep, stress, age, sex, and other clinical factors.
A lab result alone does not confirm growth hormone deficiency or determine treatment. A licensed clinician reviews your results in context and may recommend further evaluation when clinically appropriate.
What markers may be reviewed?
Testing may include relevant hormone, thyroid, metabolic, cardiovascular, inflammatory, nutrient, liver, kidney, and blood health markers.
Growth hormone related assessment may include selected markers such as insulin-like growth factors. The exact panel may vary based on sex, age, symptoms, medical history, province, and clinician judgement.
Will I receive treatment after my assessment?
Treatment is not guaranteed. Any treatment, referral, monitoring plan, or follow up is considered only when clinically appropriate and reviewed by a licensed clinician.
If treatment is not appropriate, your clinician may recommend lifestyle changes, further testing, specialist referral, follow up monitoring, or care through your primary care provider.
Can I use my results with another clinician?
Yes. Your lab results and assessment summary can help support future conversations with your primary care provider, endocrinologist, or another licensed healthcare professional.
